Patikoko helps a household share pet care — feeding, health records, supplies, reminders — between everyone who looks after the same pets. To do that, we store the pet and care information you enter, your account email, and the email of anyone you invite to your household.
Patikoko is built around a shared household ("Nest") of caregivers and pets. Most of what we store is information you and your household members type in directly.
Account: Email address and password (handled by authentication provider Supabase — plain-text passwords are never stored).
Pet profiles: Name, species, breed, birth date, weight, and optional photo for each pet.
Care records: Feeding, water, litter, walk, and grooming logs; health records (vaccinations, vet visits, medications, weight history); notes; calendar entries.
Household & supplies: Care station and inventory details (food, litter, and quantities/weights), and email addresses of invited household members.
Diagnostics: Crash and error reports including device model, OS version, app version, and failed code path. Pet or account content is excluded.
Advertising: Google AdMob uses the device advertising identifier and ad interactions to display and measure ads. On iOS, this requires tracking permission.
The app does not request access to contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone. Photo access is limited to selecting pet photos from your library or camera.
Your data is not sold. Two groups can access it:
People you invite: Household members can view and edit pets and care records according to their permissions. Removing a member revokes their access.
Service providers:
Information may be disclosed if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Database-level access control restricts household data to invited members only. While no method guarantees absolute security, we follow industry-standard practices.
Patikoko is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we've collected data from a child.
Material changes update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
